Victims of Mental Health Conditions

Over the next few weeks I am going to be researching and writing about those that are left behind in the community due to them suffering from mental health issues and getting no help

I am horrified to see that despite publicity on various levels there are still many people that suffer mental health issues including Depression, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, Paranoia and more yet they are dumped into the community with little or no support.

Many find themselves wrapped up in crime and victims of abuse, they are ending up in Police and Prison cells with no help for their conditions. They are often scared to travel, to be alone or even to go to public places such as the job centre to get the benefits they are entitled to and often desperately need.

My research is introducing me to people that have suffered for years and despite begging for help get nowhere. This really does rattle my cage so if you want to help me to gather information to expose this cruel treatment of so many, especially in The UK please do send me an email andrewashman67@protonmail.com

All information will be treated in the strictest confidence and NO NAMES will be mentioned in my writings

Military Romance Scams

Online Military Romance Scams:

There seems to be a whole new culture growing online everyday and Military Romance Scams seems to be one of the big ones just now.

We have been contacted by three ladies who have been affected by these scams, The "soldiers" claim to be in the United States military and say that they are based away from home in places such as Kuwait and Nigeria.

They are very clever and target vulnerable people, particularly those with bad marriages or divorced. We are yet to establish how they know who to target or whether they target a range of people and just wait to see who responds.
If anyone has any information on that please let us know.

There are even "females" involved now, contacting b-sexual and gay women and pursuing fake relationships with them so be warned it's growing every day!!

One chap calling himself "Collin Lingo or Francis Lingo Collin" targets older women who he seems to believe may be fairly comfortable off, befriends them, enters into a "relationship" with them and then pulls the heart strings.

Our ladies have asked to remain anonymous at this stage, but we will refer to this one as Mrs D; She told us that Colin lingo told her he was a widower, was very lonely and looking for a wife.
Mrs D was also a divorcee living alone and therefore believed every word Lingo said, so when he told her he needed money to travel home on leave to see her she quickly agreed to send him money via Western Union.

Of course each time she sent money something happened to cause Lingo to need still more and vulnerable, loved up Mrs D fell for his lies and sent it. She admits that now she feels so foolish after she lost so much and is having to gradually get things together again from her pension. Mrs D sold things to raise funds to bring her "loved one" home, but of course he never came. Two friends found out and called in the police, even then Mrs D was so convinced that Lingo loved her she didn't want to accept what the police said. Lingo had even provided her with documents from The United States Army to confirm his leave, so how could it be a scam??

As recently as three weeks ago another lady Mrs W was being lead into a similar web of deceit by one of these "soldiers" (she has asked us not to name him) and being told that he wanted her to go and live with him in USA. He told her that he was serving in Kuwait but he wanted her to go out and live with him in his house in America.

He persuaded her that he needed her to set up a bank account for them both . put some money in it and give him the online access details to it and to send photocopies of all the pages of her passport in order for the US Military to arrange her travel visa. The last straw for Mrs W came when her "soldier love" asked her to buy him a new telephone as his was broken and he would have to sign off from their chat on social media as he was using a mobile that had been loaned to him by a friend.

Mrs W had held intimate conversations with this twisted individual and had even sent him nude pictures of herself yet all he was doing was scamming her for money. She has now had to arrange for a new passport to be issued with all new photographs, numbers, etc and start over. Sadly she is currently unwell suffering with depression and hardly speaking to her family or friends.

Now the news comes that there is a person purporting to be a bi-sexual female seeking women through social media to get close to and then tries the same sort of moves, she is currently still being looked into so we cannot say much at this stage
